Why "Charlie"?
Charlie was built out of our own frustration. Clunky work shoes or delicate fashion footwear? Cheap shoes that fall apart after a few wears, or shoes that were incredibly overpriced? It didn’t seem right that we had to make these tradeoffs, so we started Charlie to provide another option.
Charlie is more than our name: it’s our philosophy. Charlie is a workday, but it’s also the unofficial start of the weekend, and we design every product with that same versatility in mind. Your life isn’t one-dimensional. What you wear shouldn’t be either.
